Common Questions for Operation Spring Break

Before I get into the responses to those questions, I forgot to mention the other day that next week starting Monday the 18th through Saturday the 23rd is Bring A Friend week. If you want to test out our programs, this is the time to do it.

Ok, people are asking me if this consists of just nutrition or just exercise? Basically they want to know what this Operation consists of and what they are “getting into”.

Here you go:
To start all you have to do is say yes. Then after that we will send you everything you would need to know. To give you an idea, each week we will send out a weekly email with homework and a plan or mindset for the week. Before we start you will compile some date for us and send it to us. We will analyze it and set up a time to talk over the phone for at least 30 minutes. Then every 4 weeks we will talk again or as needed but at a minimum every four weeks we will check in via phone. Every week you will send us a weekly email with what went well and what challenges you had. It is mostly a lifestyle plan that certainly would consist of nutrition and fitness. The bottom line is we are here for you.

Transformation Contest: Operation Spring Break

Starting Monday November 25th marks the start of the Transformation Contest: Operation Spring Break. The contest runs through Friday March 21st. That is roughly 17 weeks to a new you. Think of what you can accomplish in 17 weeks.

This contest is NOT for the following people:

-If you are completely satisfied with the way you look this is not for you

-If you are completely satisfied with the way you feel this is not for you

-If you are completely satisfied with the way you function and move this is not for you

This contest IS for the following people:

-Do you want to see a physical change but are not sure how to get it?

-Do you want to see a physical change and have been working out but can not seem to find the right plan to get it done?

-Are you feeling overwhelmed with where you are now and where you want to be?

-Do you have the motivation yet feel like you lack the direction or guidance to achieve what you want to achieve?

Here are the logistics. It is roughly 17 weeks long. Every step of the way you will be coached by either myself or Jason. We are both here to help support you in this chapter of your life. You DO NOT have to be a current client. You DO NOT have to live in the vicinity, all can be done via email, phone or video. It is $79 for the 17 weeks. That is less then $5 a week. Is your health worth $5 a week?

The day after yesterday

This past Saturday was the Bad Ass Challenge. It was a success on many fronts and for many people that never knew they had it in them to compete and complete it. We had 5 new gym records set! My dad at the ripe age of 64 did 69 push ups in 60 seconds! I was so proud just in that moment let alone the others that followed.

People were uncomfortable. They were challenged beyond what they thought was possible. They also overcame themselves. They got used to being uncomfortable and once that happens being uncomfortable does not seem so bad anymore and starts to get comfortable. By the end of the event people attacked each event differently then they did at first.

I use this to illustrate that doing something new, doing something different or challenging can always feel uncomfortable it can also
almost always lead to something great!

I invite you to do things differently!

We are coming into a hot season of treats and celebrations and overindulgence. It is so easy to do the norm. to do what is always done. You know come January or February you will regret it and wonder how it got so bad.

In the spirit of doing different, we are changing some things here at the gym.

Starting this Saturday the 9th were are adding some extra times to the schedule. Saturdays will now be, through the Fall and Winter months, 8am ULTRA , 9am individual sessions and 10am Group of our choosing. Every week the 10am will be different. We will also still be open to any individual that needs a separate time or special time based on their schedules like always. We have received feedback that it would be nice in the Fall and Winter to sleep in a little later and offer a later class time. We listened and we are doing our best to accommodate.

Also, we normally hold a transformation contest 2 times per year for 12 weeks at a time. This year I want to hold one and have it go longer for greater support and impact. Starting Monday the 25th of November will mark the start of the contest and Friday March 21st will mark the conclusion. That is roughly 17 weeks to get you ready for Spring Break!
